Children’s Inn Gala Welcomes Leaders across Several Sectors

The CEO of SAI, a small business in Maryland that serves the private and government sectors, Patrick Stoup ensures the company meets its short- and long-term goals by developing various strategies and approving budgets. Through the company, Patrick Stoup provides financial support to organizations such as the Children’s Inn at National Institutes of Health.

Dedicated to helping families with children who are critically ill, Children’s Inn offers therapeutic and educational programs along with a free “place like home” to families and children involved in the research at the National Institutes of Health. To support its work, Children’s Inn throughout the year hosts several events, including its annual gala, An Evening for Hope. Now in its third year, An Evening for Hope welcomes top government health agencies, technology firms, and organizations to enjoy a dinner and silent and live auctions. Close to 800 supporters attend the Gala every year.

The 3rd Annual Children’s Inn Gala is scheduled for May 7, 2016, at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Nearly 100 senior government leaders are scheduled to attend the gala this year. An Evening for Hope begins with a silent auction at 5:30 p.m. A VIP reception and welcoming reception will take place before opening the doors for dinner at 6:45. In addition to its auction, the gala will be raffling off a Buddy 50 white scooter that was custom-painted by children served by Children’s Inn. The raffle winner will also receive a warranty for the scooter and a gift card for an accessory package.
